As part of Margate's Summer of Colour and supported by Arts Council England, Turner Contemporary, Margate Town Team and through a Kickstarter campaign we worked with the community in and around Thanet to create over 30 bright and cheerful giant lampshades using knitting, crafts and printing. This was a summer long project over a period of 4 months and the shades appeared in and around Margate between August 2014 and January 2015 - extending Summer into the winter months

Summer of Colour Fish for Margate
As a further contribution to the Coat for a Boat project (displayed at Turner Contemporary, Margate) the knitters and stitchers of KnitterKnitKnitKnit created a series of bright and beautiful fish, which found homes around Margate's Old Town.
Follow the Herring

Bunting
